\n\u2022 Roads: the park Mtito Andei Gates is 233 km South of Nairobi and 250 km North of Mombasa on the main Nairobi- Mombasa Road. Distance Nairobi-Mtito Andei: 233 km \u2013 Mtito Andei-Voi: 96 km \u2013 Voi-Mombasa: 153 km. From Malindi, take the western road (C103) and enter in the park via Sala gate.
\n\u2022 Airstrips: Voi, Aruba, Satao, Sala, Ithumba, Sangayaya, Mopeo, Bachuma, Cottars,<\/p>\n
\n\u201cLand of Lava, Springs and Man-Eaters\u201d<\/strong>
\nFrom the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher\u2019s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

\n\u2022 Distance: 240 km from Nairobi, 250km from Mombasa (Mtito Andei Gate).
\n\u2022 By air: There are 3 airstrips in the park
\n\u2022 Gates: Tsavo, Lake Jipe, Mtito Andei (Kamboyo HQ), Chyulu, Maktau and Ziwani.
\n\u2022 Roads: The main access routes are through Chyulu Gate from Amboseli and Mtito Andei Gate from Nairobi.
\n\u2022 Visitors from Mombasa also use Tsavo Gate near Manyani.
\n\u2022 The Park can also be reached via Taveta \u2013 Voi road through Maktau, Ziwani and Jipe Gates.
