Day 1 Fly Dar/ Kigoma
07h00 Pick up from the hotel in Dar es salaam. Transfer to Dar airport for your scheduled flight to Kigoma
09h05 Arrive at Kigoma airport. Pick up by hotel vehicle. Transfer to Kigoma Town. Dinner at Sangara restaurant. Overnight at KIGOMA HILLTOP HOTEL (HB).
Gombe National Park
Day 2 Kigoma/ Gombe
07h00 Breakfast at the hotel. 08h45 Transfer to the Lake for boat departure to Gombe. Pick up on arrival and transfer to the camp, 12h00 Hot lunch at the camp. Afterwards proceed for Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Gombe Stream’s main attraction is obviously the chimpanzee families that live protected in the park’s boundaries. Visitors take walks deep into the forest to observe and sit with the extraordinary primates for an entire morning. Apart from chimpanzee viewing, many other species of primates live in Gombe Stream’s tropical forests. Vervet and colobus monkeys, baboons, forest pigs and dik dik inhabit the dense forest and a wide variety of tropical birdlife. Dinner and overnight at GOMBE LUXURY TENTED CAMP.
Day 3 Gombe Steam
07h00 Breakfast. 08h00 Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Climb to Kakombe waterfalls if time allows. Meals and overnight at GOMBE LUXURY TENTED CAMP.
Day 4 Gombe Stream
07h00 Breakfast. 08h00 Chimpanzee tracking in the forest. Climb to Jane Godall’s peak. Meals and overnight at GOMBE LUXURY TENTED CAMP.
Day 5 Gombe Stream
07h00 Breakfast. 08h45 Transfer to the lake shore for departure by boat to Kigoma. Pick up upon arrival and transfer to Kigoma Hilltop Hotel. 12h30 Lunch at the hotel. 14h00 Proceed for a short sightseeing tour of Kigoma and Ujiji Town. Later transfer to the airport for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam
